WAGS ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you provide to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit our talent and recruitment website at talent.hirewags.com, apply for or inquire about a position, communicate with us, or engage with us as a prospective, current, or former virtual assistant, contractor, or candidate.

Your use of our website is also subject to our Terms and Conditions.

1. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by WAGS through:

  • our talent and recruitment website (talent.hirewags.com);
  • job applications, inquiries, and recruitment-related submissions;
  • email, phone, text message, chat, and other communications with applicants, candidates, contractors, and clients;
  • candidate screening, interviewing, onboarding, and placement processes; and
  • certain third-party vendors and service providers acting on our behalf.

This Privacy Policy does not govern information that a client stores, controls, or processes within the client's own systems, software, databases, customer records, or business tools where WAGS itself does not have access.

2. Information We Collect

WAGS collects limited information necessary to operate our business, respond to inquiries, evaluate and place candidates, manage relationships, provide services, and market our services.

A. Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • phone number (including mobile number);
  • resume, CV, work history, skills, and professional experience;
  • application, recruitment, and interview details;
  • company name (where applicable);
  • communications and correspondence (including chat and text messages); and
  • any other information you choose to provide in connection with an application, inquiry, or service request.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information, including:

  • IP address;
  • browser type;
  • device type;
  • operating system;
  • referring URLs;
  • pages viewed;
  • website interactions;
  • dates and times of visits; and
  • general traffic, analytics, advertising, and performance data.

3. SMS / Text Messaging and Chat Communications

If you contact us through the chat widget on our website or otherwise provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from WAGS related to your inquiry, application, the recruitment and placement process, interview scheduling, and related customer-care or informational communications.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
  • Providing consent to receive text messages is not a condition of applying for any position or receiving any service.

No mobile information or SMS/text messaging opt-in consent will be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information obtained as part of an SMS consent process is used only to provide the communications described above and is not shared with third parties for marketing.

4. Independent Contractor Virtual Assistants

WAGS works with virtual assistants who are independent contractors and not employees of WAGS.

Clients may, at their discretion, provide an assigned independent contractor virtual assistant with access to certain systems, software, calendars, inboxes, platforms, files, or business information in order to perform the services requested by the client.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:

  • WAGS does not directly access the client's internal systems, files, or customer databases;
  • WAGS does not own, control, or claim rights in the client's business data;
  • WAGS only maintains the limited information necessary to communicate with the client and administer the business relationship; and
  • the client remains responsible for determining what level of access to grant to any assigned virtual assistant.

5. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

  • respond to inquiries and requests;
  • evaluate, screen, interview, onboard, and place candidates and virtual assistants;
  • communicate with applicants, candidates, contractors, and clients;
  • provide, coordinate, and administer services;
  • send service-related notices and administrative communications;
  • maintain records for legal, tax, accounting, and operational purposes;
  • improve our website, services, and internal processes;
  • monitor website performance, traffic, advertising, and marketing effectiveness;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, misuse, or security issues;
  • send marketing and promotional communications, subject to applicable law; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

WAGS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration in the ordinary sense.
